Ease of use

The combination of our MET-VC “virtual classroom” software and our Learning Management System (MET-LMS) is unique. It will allow you to set up lessons with students quickly and easily from your normal web browser.

Our aim is to make our system as user friendly as possible – whoever the user is. For example our website complies with WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) standards (up to level 2) which is above the minimum recommendations for DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) compliance.

Our software is easy to use for both students and teachers, yet provides a fully interactive environment. Access is via your normal browser settings and Active X plugins.

Interactivity

Learners need to be active participants in the learning process but just like any skill, learning means more than sitting and watching the action. The virtual classroom we provide allows the student and teacher not only to see and hear one another but also to work together on a Whiteboard and to share applications. You can, for example, share a view of a document, web page, spreadsheet or PowerPoint application and work on it with your student.

Unlike public domain software our system works seamlessly with most firewalls without exposing your computer to attack from spammers and viruses.
